Aster is a licensed family daycare approved by the Department of EEC for up to 10 children. Nestled in a warm, child-safe neighborhood in Acton, we act as an extended family for your child. Our nurturing environment supports infants, toddlers, and preschoolers through play-based learning.
We foster growth across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains with predictable, engaging daily routines. Our curriculum nurtures creativity and curiosity through story time, arts and crafts, music, dance, imaginative play, and puzzles—building the foundation for a lifetime of learning.

Aster provides a bright, well-ventilated, and child-centered space designed to support early development. Our 1600 sq. ft. facility features defined zones for quiet time, play, learning, eating, napping, and diapering—creating a structured yet flexible routine for children. A welcoming entrance with cubby storage helps build independence and familiarity.
Outdoors, children enjoy over half an acre of private play space with swings, slides, and seasonal water activities. The setup encourages physical activity, social interaction, and imaginative play in a safe, natural setting. Aster offers a nurturing environment where children feel confident, supported, and inspired to explore.

Meet the Heart Behind Aster
Jaya established Aster in 2015 with her heart overwhelmed with love for children. She is a mother of two children. Extremely caring and full of empathy, Jaya finds great joy in nurturing every child with utmost care. It gives her immense pleasure to care for the children, which gives working mothers peace of mind while they are at work.
She has designed Aster with a holistic mindset. It is her endeavor that the child spends every moment with joy, and at the same time is exposed to a learning environment which is crucial for their mental and physical development. Â
She has undertaken child care training from the department. of the EEC to get her family day care license. She has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Electronics. She has a diploma in multimedia and is extremely fond of graphic design. She likes to draw, play piano, read, walk, go biking, and practice yoga.
